TRIP ITINERARY


Day 1 Flight Day

Transfer to your hotel upon your arrival.  After settling in, attend the welcome & orientation meeting with your guide.


Day 2 Kurşunlu Waterfall – Kozan Village (Pednelissos Ancient Site)

The journey will begin from one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the country, Kurşunlu Waterfall. Along the way on wide asphalt road we will pass by villages set among colorful fields and pristine pine trees. After 26 km we will have a lunch and tea break in a small village. Following the break, be ready to climb 14 km until Kozan village. After your arrival you have got the chance to swim and relax at the waterfalls of Kozan village. There is a beautiful walking option to the Pednelissos Ancient site, located in the village where we will spend our first night.

Day 3 Kozan Village – Yazılı Canyon Natural Park

After you enjoy a leisurely breakfast, visit the natural pools of Uçansu Waterfalls set underneath the Pednelissos Ancient Site. Whether climbing hills or coasting downhill, choose your desired route and experience the freedom you will have with our EON Tours support minivan tailing close behind. You will enjoy your choice of fresh trout dinner or Turkish kebap straight from the grill. Your second night is spent at Çandır Village.

Day 4 Hike to Yazılı Canyon Pass (6 km +736m, – 227m) /Adada Ancient Site to Eğirdir Lake

Hike in one of the most awe inspiring canyons in the country, along the famous Saint Paul way, and be greeted by our support minivan waiting to escort you to a rewarding meal upon your excursion’s completion. Enjoy panoramic mountain views of ancient Psidia from your restaurant table as you savor the sights as well as the tastes of Turkey. After your meal, visit the ancient site of Adada dating back to the 2nd century BC. You will then hop on your bikes and head to Eğirdir Lake, also known as “the lake of seven colors,” which is the second largest freshwater lake in the country.

Day 5 Free Day (Optional Biking)

Relax with a day of recovery! You can choose to participate in active rest activities such as joining our hike underneath the endemic oak trees of Kasnak Meşesi National Park. There will also be an optional bike ride around Lake Eğirdir or you can opt to spend your time doing some local shopping or exploring the castle of Eğirdir.

Day 6 Eğirdir Lake – Köprülü Canyon
Koprulu Canyon

Get ready to behold the most interesting stone formations and beautiful panoramic villages of Mediterranean Anatolia with this day’s agenda. You will savor a tasty picnic lunch in the most idyllic setting in the middle of nature. After your lunch, follow the roads of Köprülü Canyon which will lead you to your hotel near the Köprüçay River, known as the most attractive rafting destination of Turkey. Gaze upon the majestic Taurus Mountains that surround you as you ride along the river.

Day 7 Köprülü Canyon – Selge Ancient Site

After breakfast, we will visit Selge and be serenaded by live sufi music melodies from the theater of this ancient site—an exclusive treat for your listening pleasure! Then get your wheels spinning as you make your way to the ancient site of Pamphylia. This geography is famous for conglomerate stone formations. Meet the locals and watch your traditional pancake “gözleme” as it is home cooked on a flat stone oven by the hospitable villagers. If you are lucky, you may even spot some black eagles, native to this park, soaring above you over the mountains of Selge.

Day 8 Departure

Despite your reluctance to leave this magical country, we will say our farewells and arrange for airport transfer for your return flight back home. We hope to see YOU on our next Eon Tours adventure!

Changes in the Program:
• We reserve the right to make any alterations in the program, depending on weather and road conditions or organizational requirements for the safety of the group.

Physical Requirements:
• Daily biking routes vary between 10 to 50 km’s with several route options available. Expect some uphill and mountainous terrains. Routes include asphalt and tarmac roads between the villages with traffic, and minor dirt roads through the forest. There may be extended climbs that may require you to walk your bike. Our support minivan will be following in our entire program. You may choose to skip any uphill that is beyond your ability and use our support minivan.

Bicycle Helmets:
• Please bring your own helmet for your safety.

Children on the Tour:
• We allow children 14 and older in good physical condition who are accompanied by a parent on this tour. They must be able to ride an adult-sized bicycle.

Meals and Drinks:
• Your breakfast and dinners will be served at the places that we will accommodate. Lunches will be served at best local restaurants and there will be scenic and delicious picnics on our way. We give utmost attention to the dietary restrictions and needs of our guests. Please let us know if you have any special needs at the time you book your tour.
