TRIP ITINERARY

Aegean CoastsDay 1 Flight Day
Depart the U.S. on a flight to Istanbul.

Day 2 Bodrum
Arrive in Istanbul and have a connected flight to Bodrum. Meet your guide in the airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy your free afternoon by walking in Bodrum or refreshing in the hotel’s pool. Welcome meeting and orientation walk in the Bodrum Marina.

Day 3 Bodrum
After breakfast we will visit Bodrum Castle in the morning. We will embark on our boat at noon. Enjoy lunch on board and cruise to Karaada (Karaada cove) near Bodrum in the afternoon. Have dinner on board and stay overnight in Karaada.

Day 4 Kos (Greece)
Cruise to Kos Island after breakfast. Attracting travelers and sailors since 3000 BC, Kos is renowned after Hippocrates and his teachings. Enjoy the tour of Kos town including the Castle of Knights, Plateia Platanou (Hippocrates’ tree), and ancient agora. Tour the Roman sites and Hellenistic Asklepieion, the site for recuperation in the ancient time. Travel to the picturesque hamlets of Asfendiou, Zia and Lagoudi. Enjoy the night of Kos where ancient and modern sit side by side as Nafklirou, the street of bars, runs beside the ancient agora.

Day 5 Nisyros (Greece)
Cruise to Nisyros after breakfast. Having a unique flora and fauna fed by volcanic soil, Nisyros has a semi-active caldera. Visit the largest Stefanos crater, which has a number of hot springs, boiling mud pods, and gas vents, and walk on the crater surface. Enjoy the tour of tiny Nikia Village with its brightly painted houses and pebble mosaics. Wander in the narrow lanes between Plateia Ilikiomenon and the medieval Chora district in the evening.

Day 6 Symi (Greece)
Cruise to Symi and its harbor Gialos, surrounded byMediterranean Neo-Classical houses and elaborate churches built on the hillside. Walk up to Chorio and visit the church of Hagios Georgios, the Byzantine kastro and the church of Megali Panagia with the famous icon of the last judgment.

Day 7 Rhodes (Greece)
Cruise to Rhodes, the biggest island of the Dodecanese. Dominated by the Palace of the Grand Masters, Rhodes is one the best preserved medieval towns in Europe and a World Heritage Site. Visit the Archeological Museum and walk through the medieval Street of the Knights (Odos Ippoton). Enjoy the memoirs of the Inns of the Tongues of the Order of St.John. Rhodes is home to the famous Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World but destroyed by earthquakes. Enjoy your free time between the old and new towns in Rhodes in the afternoon.

Day 8 Rhodes (Greece)
After breakfast, travel 30 miles from Rhodes to Lindos village. All the vehicular traffic terminates on the central square of Lindos. Above the town and the beach, the impressive acropolis stands on a huge outcrop of rock. Climb or take a donkey ride to the entrance of the acropolis. Enjoy the free time to deal with the local lace sellers in Lindos.

SunsetDay 9 Datca
Cruise back to Turkish water and clear custom duty in Datca port. Cruise to remote Kargi Bay and spend the rest of the day by swimming, snorkeling or reading.

Day 10 Knidos / Mersincik
Cruise to Knidos, which was one of the six cities of the Dorian League and built in the honor of Apollo. Visit the extensive ruins of the ancient site washed by Aegean sunsets and mild breezes from the sea. Continue to Mersincik Bay and spend the night in this secluded bay.

Day 11 Bodrum
Enjoy the day at leisure on the boat. Cruise to Bodrum in the afternoon and have free time in the evening.

Day 12 Departure
Disembark the boat and say goodbye to our crew. Transfer to Bodrum Airport in the
