"What a trip! And, what a team! EON Tours did a spectacular job for our Biblical Turkey tour! Sofie did magnificent work on pre-trip arrangements and logistics--and stepped in effectively when we encountered an unexpected challenge. Aydin is a superb guide, full of energy, enthusiasm, expert knowledge and a passion to enable group members to connect with Turkish life. He has an amazing ability to establish warm and encouraging relationships with each person in the group, while remaining attentive to the needs of all. "My tour with EON Tours was everything I had hoped it would be, and beyond...This was a solo tour for, and I asked to see parts of Turkey that most tours do not venture to...Aydin provided a perfect tour that allowed me to see some wonderful small villages and ancient sites..The guides that toured me around Istanbul to Cappadocia and beyond were fabulous!! "Couldn't have been better! We spent 26 days in Turkey & Greece through EON, I was amazed at the level of care: they provided an archaeologist (who was as fun as she was knowledgeable), we had a barber, a masseur, they arranged the spa treatments & the hot-air-ballooning, even providing us with walking sticks, so many perks delivered seemingly effortlessly delivered (but of course, we all know how hard "herding cats" tourists IS). And delivered with so much humour & good cheer. The restaurants chosen were phenomenal (my one complaint,: TOO MUCH GOOD FOOD, I can't fit into my clothes). In short (long?): Sofie, Ayedin & Serra were exceptional..."

"As a small group of five, we booked a cycling and hiking trip through EON-Tours. I had been searching for a long time for a tour operator with a German-speaking guide and finally found one here. Jackpot! With Gürcan Karakus, we had a fantastic guide. He was very competent, loved his job, took excellent care of us, and was always available to answer any questions. We traveled together for about two weeks. First in Cappadocia, then across the Taurus Mountains to Antalya. The selection of tours was always superb, and he told us a great deal about the country and its people. The rental bikes were in excellent condition and were constantly maintained and cleaned throughout our trip by our driver and mechanic, Egemann. The two of them were a great team and did everything to make the trip unforgettable. We arrived as strangers and left as friends! Thank you so much for the wonderful time!"
"My experience with Eon Tours was through trips organized as part of the "Getty Seminar." Yaşar İsmet Demiröz from Eon Tours was with us throughout this wonderful four-year adventure. He was incredibly dedicated in every aspect, both within his job description and beyond. He helped the waiters when he noticed food was late, resolved any problems we encountered at the hotel immediately, was meticulous in ensuring no disruptions occurred during transfers, and patiently listened and showed interest during scientific discussions. I don't know about Eon Tours' other trips or staff, but everything on these trips with Yaşar was perfect. The harmony and collaboration between him and Serra Somersan during the first three years is also worth mentioning. Serra provided excellent scientific and organizational support to all participants in the group, both in English and Turkish. I extend my gratitude to both of them, and consequently to Eon Tours."

"For three weeks in May and June of 2022, EON Tours treated us to the trip of a lifetime through Western Turkey. We toured Istanbul and ancient ruins on foot, the Bospous and scenic Meiterranean tributaries by boat, the rural countryside by van, lakeshores in the highlands by e-bike, and Cappadocia by hot-air balloon; and experienced many milleniia of human history, from modern cities like Antalya to 9000 year-old ancient ruins of Asikli Hoyuk near Aksaray. EON Tours' superb guides made it all so memorable. They checked us into the best hotels, introduced us to local artisans and chefs, shared with us the most delicious cuisine, vividly described the local histories of all the places we visited, and best of all treated us the whole time like life-long friends. They were indispensable companions in such unfamiliar surroundings. Their skills made our journey a dream come true. We hope to go back to see Eastern Turkey next year!"

"Had a wonderful travel experience with EON Tours. I very much enjoyed getting to know my guides as well as learning from them about the places we were visiting. They brought a lot of really cool information to the sites that helped me better understand what I was exploring. Additionally, I felt as if they very kind and caring. For example, both of my guides had the generosity to give when I was in need, once when I needed hiking pants and another time when my hands were cold from freezing wind. "We just came back from a trip with EON. All I can say is "wow". We had to reschedule the trip twice due to Covid, and the company worked with us - well beyond what was legally required - to minimize financial impact and to make the trip eventually happen. They were superb in planning, flawless in execution, and just simply good people. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and we are actively looking at ways to do so. Our guide, Bilge, was superb - smart yet down to earth, funny, and knowledgeable. We were joined for part of the trip by Aydin, one of the company's owners and also an active guide, who added even greater depth and dimensionality. Don't believe any of the stuff about Turkey being unsafe - there was never a time in our visit where we felt that. Though Greece seems to have better PR, Turkey I think is more beautiful, less expensive, and a better choice. Bravo Eon!"

"Eon tours was an absolutely wonderful company to explore Cappadocia with! They arranged everything for our large group of 32~ people: transport to/from the airport, pcr testing at our hotel before leaving, communication with our hotel staff, hikes/historical tours of the wild rock formations/caves, hot air balloon ride, unique Turkish dining that we never would have known about, shopping, transportation for everything just mentioned, and they created a fun picture presentation of our adventures there. We didn't have to worry about anything. Ramazan, Yasar, and Deniz were with us at all times, ready to help and answer any questions that we had. All 3 of them were very professional, kind, hospitable, accomodating and really good at their jobs. Ayden joined us part of the time and he was also full of warmth and hospitality as well as good humor and incredible knowledge about the history of the area. All 4 of these men were excellent tour guides and also just really nice friends to our group (it was truly sad to say goodbye to them at the end) - they absolutely went above and beyond for us. "We have traveled with Eon Tours twice: A tour of Turkey and Greek islands in 2014 and a boat/ bike trip in the Aegean this year 2018. This year, our captain successfully navigated us through ‘Medicate Zorba’ ( first ever Mediterranean hurricane) with minimal impact on daily activities. Amazing. Tour staff (AYDIN, Yasar, and Mert) are top notch and very knowledgeable about local history. You can’t go wrong: accomdations, service, food, and tours make memories for a lifetime."
"We just returned from a 2 week tour of the Greek Islands and Athens with EON Tours. This was our second tour with EON. We did an amazing 2 week tour of Turkey in 2014. This trip was 12 days with 4 other couples on a 118 foot Turkish Gulet and 2 days in Athens. Our guides Aydin & Yasar, along with the crew of the Kaya Guneri plus were simply amazing. We had had some very interesting weather challenges which caused us to make changes in our itinerary. This could have ruined our trip, but instead the guides and the crew because of their knowledge of the area were able to adjust and change our destinations and activities. One of the best things about this company is the flexibility. You can be as active or inactive as you like. We bicycled, hiked and kayaked, but there was always the option to just relax. You will not be disappointed if you decide to go with this company!"
"It was my first visit to Turkey - I had a too short window, a long list of things to do and see, and I called my friend Mert at Eon Tours to help me make it happen. It was fantastic. Eon made everything easy (for a first time visitor, woman traveling alone in Turkey).
